EMB 170/190 Training

INITIAL TRAINING

  • 15 days ground course
  • 9 Sessions (36 hrs.) Full Flight Simulator (incl. check)
  • Standard Operations Procedures: based on Embraer procedures
  • Admission requirements: JAR (frozen) ATPL, MCC completed

BRIDGE COURSE

The course modules are designed to cover areas of possible training gaps. Each module lasts 4 hrs. and can be offered separately.

  • Module 1: Introduction to jets
  • Module 2: Introduction to jets/FMS/glass cockpits
  • Module 3: Introduction to glass cockpit/s FMS/MCC
  • Admission requirements: knowledge of jet operations (flying skills, theoretical knowledge), knowledge of MCC, knowledge of FMS-integrated flight decks (glass cockpits)

LPC (ANNUAL RECURRENT)

  • 2 days Technical Review (CBT)
  • 4 hrs. Full Flight Simulator - Refresher
  • 4 hrs. Full Flight Simulator - Proficiency Check
  • Course lasts 5 days
  • Admission requirements: actual EMB170/190 Rating & JAR

OPC (SEMI ANNUAL RECURRENT)

  • 4 hrs. Full Flight Simulator - Refresher
  • 4 hrs. Full Flight Simulator - Proficiency Check
  • Course lasts 2 days
  • Admission requirements: actual EMB170/190 Rating & JAR
  • License

RENEWAL

  • License expired within 2 years: 20 hrs. CBT Training & 8 hrs.FFS Training (2 Sessions, incl. check); course lasts ca. 5 days (2.5 days CBT, 2 days simulator)
  • Licensed expired between 2 & years: 40 hrs. CBT Training & 20 hrs. FFS Training (5 sessions, incl. check); course lasts ca. 10 days (5 days CBT, 5 days simulator)
  • Admission requirements: EMB 170/190 Rating expired within 2 years resp. expired between 2 and 5 years, JAR license & valid instrument rating

TRI TRAINING (PHASE II)

  • 20 hrs. CBT - Training
  • 20 hrs. Full Flight Simulator – Training (5 Sessions, inckl. check)
  • Course lasts 5 days
  • Admission requirements: actual EMB170/190 Rating & JAR
  • License, Principles of teaching & learning theory course
  • completed and valid instrument rating
