Aptitude assessment
You will be invited to undergo this assessment after you have applied to complete your pilot training with SWISS, provided you meet the relevant application criteria. The assessment consists of five selection levels plus some additional tests, and extends over about four months:
- Psychometric tests (in groups) to assess your basic theoretical potential
- Equipment tests to assess your multi-tasking skills
- Two to four 50-minute exercises in our PIT flight trainer (you will be given a description to help you prepare for this)
- Medical examination at the Swiss Medical Center
- A final round with interviews
All five levels are part of the selection process, which will be conducted in accordance with SWISS’s established standards and requirements.
Additional tests:
- an English/German test, depending on your language skills and qualifications
- subject tests in mathematics, geography, geometry, chemistry and physics before the final round.
