Refresher course for ERJ 135/145 series and EMB 170/190 series are also available as web-based training.

Objectives

After completing the Refresher / Continuation Course, the participant should be able to:

  • maintain the aircraft in accordance with the maintenance procedures prescribed.
  • identify and locate the major components associated with each system.
  • explain the operation of every system and its main components.
  • conduct a targeted search for errors or malfunctions in response to the failure of particular systems or units.
  • exchange the aircraft’s LRUs and conduct Built in Test (BIT) by using the relevant documentation.

The above requires a knowledge of the relevant manuals such as the Maintenance Manual, the Systems Schematics Manual, the Wiring Manual and the Illustrated Parts Catalogue, as well as the required tooling and equipment.

Content

The content of the course will be tailored to the customer’s specific needs, to refresh the participants’ existing knowledge (Refresher Course) and / or deal with any changes or innovations (Continuation Course).

Admission requirements

The course is intended for maintenance technicians holding the licences required (A, B1, B2, B1 / B2, C). Participants must have the expertise and experience to meet the knowledge and skill levels required for the corresponding EASA licences (or equivalents).

Course length

The length of the course (theory & practice) will be based on the customer’s wishes. We will be pleased to assist and advise here.

Examination

Examinations will be conducted if desired by the customer
