ObjectivesAfter completing the Engine Run-Up and Taxiing Maintenance Refresher Course, the participant should be able to:
ContentThe course is divided into two sections: theoretical refresher and practical training on a full-flight simulator. The theoretical instruction is intended to serve as a refresher on the systems and procedures required to operate, manage and monitor the engines. The time required for each topic here will depend on the participant’s existing knowledge levels. The simulator training covers all normal and abnormal systems procedures, including symptoms and problem-solving, taxiing and manufacturers’ testing programmes. The content can be adapted individually according to personal requirements. Admission requirementsThe course is intended for Category B1 or B2 maintenance technicians. Participants must have already completed the corresponding maintenance engineer’s type course or an equivalent thereof and the initial run ap and taxi course.
