This requires understanding of valid technical documentation, such as the Maintenance Manual, or other approved documentation. PrerequisitesThe participants are required to have successfully completed the specific Technicians Type Training course for Part-66 B1 or equivalent. Moreover, good English language knowledge in aviation technical english is required. Content classroom trainingDepending on the previous knowledge of the participants the amount of time required for each subject may vary. The first part of the instruction will concentrate on engine and engine components with the intention to refresh, and provide more detailed information on the component level. The second part of the instruction will concentrate on the Boroscope inspection itself. Practical training in shop environmentPractical training is performed on shop floor. The primary purpose of this training is to familiarise the participants with the procedures, to be able to conduct the Boroscope inspection effectively in accordance with the safety requirements.
