Advanced Maintenance Training for  EMB 170, EMB 190 and EMB 170/190


Objectives
After completing the Advanced Maintenance Course(Phase I, Avionics), the participant should be able to:

- Be familiar with the aircraft manuals used for troubleshooting the
EMB 170/190.
- Describe the CMC System and Identify and explain CMC
components.
- Understand the Problems related to the Electrical System, and
SPDA details.
- Understand the Problems related to the Autopilot System,
describe system tests.
- Describe the Avionic and ASCB Systems in detail.
- Explain the troubleshooting possibilities on the Avionic ASCB and
LAN Systems .
- Explain the System tests Available on the Electric/Avionic
Systems.
- Explain the various methods for Troubleshooting the EMB
170/190.
- Be able to perform a system target load and full load using the
Aircraft maintenance System.
- Identify and explain the latest load versions related to the Aircraft
Systems.
- Perform FHDB download and analysis.

The above requires a knowledge of the relevant manuals such as the Maintenance Manual, Fault Isolation Manual, Systems Schematics Manual, the Wiring Manual and the Illustrated Parts Catalogue, as well as the required tooling and equipment.

The content of this course complies with the relevant EASA
Part-147 provisions.

- Phase I avionics/electrics
- Manuals and other T/S documents
- ATA 24 troubleshooting/test
- ATA 31 troubleshooting/test
- ATA 22 troubleshooting/test
- ATA 45 troubleshooting, loads, analysis


Admission requirements
The course is intended for Category B1/B2 maintenance technicians. Participants must have minimum 6 month experience to meet the knowledge and skill levels required for the course.


Course length
-  2 days can be adjusted to customer needs and requirement.


Examination
No examination required, however can be set up according to customer need.
