Content first aid/medical training

- physiological aspects of flying, incl. oxygen needs and hypoxia
- medical emergencies in aviation
- cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
- basic first aid and survival training
- travel health and hygiene
- minimising risks
- hygiene on board
- dealing with a death on board
- handling clinical waste
- disinfecting an aircraft
- staying alert and the physiological effects of fatigue
-  sleep psychology
- biorhythms & time zone differences
- use of the aircraft’s equipment (incl. the first-aid kit, the medical
emergency kits, emergency oxygen & the emergency medical 
equipment)


Additional courses (beyond EU-OPS requirements):
- automatic external defibrillation training
