Has being a pilot always been a secret dream? We’ll help you make it come true! Step into one of our flight simulators, which are also used by SWISS and other reputed airlines to train their cockpit crews, and feel all the thrill of taking off, climbing, cruising, descending and landing at your destination, all from the cockpit perspective. It’s all phenomenally realistic: even the sounds and the movement are perfectly replicated to give you the sense you’re really flying. Airbus A330/A340, Airbus A320, Embraer ERJ145 or Boeing MD83: the choice is yours. We have simulators for all these aircraft types at our Zurich Airport training base. You can book any one of them for one, one-and-a-half or two hours (sorry, simulators cannot be booked for less than one or more than two hours). Whether you’ve booked for one, one-and-a-half or two hours, you’ll first be given a 90-minute briefing by one of our instructors, in which you’ll learn all about the basics of flying and the key cockpit functions. You’ll then go through all the vital pre-flight preparations together with your experienced flying instructor, spool up the engines, roll down the runway and take off. And once you’ve landed at your destination, you’ll be awarded your personal diploma to mark your achievement. You can bring along up to two further persons to accompany you in the cockpit on your simulator flight. Everyone aboard will be given a minimum of 30 minutes flying (provided, of course, this does not exceed your total booking time). You and anyone joining you will also need to be at least 160 cm tall; and please note that children under 14 are not allowed aboard. Check out the overview to find the simulator you want and a time that would suit you. Then click on your preferred simulator type and you’ll be taken to the booking form. Please note that in completing this and sending it to us, you confirm your acceptance of our general business terms and conditions. Once we’ve received it, we’ll send you a confirmation of your booking. You will need to pay for your session in advance: we’ll send an invoice for this to the address you give us on your booking form. Once you’ve booked your session, we’ll also ask you to send us copies of the IDs (passport or identity card) of all the persons who will be attending. Please note that if any of these documents are not provided, we will be prevented for legal reasons from conducting the session planned. Please note, too, that all the times shown in the overview are for the actual simulator session. This means that you will need to arrive at our premises at least 90 minutes before the start of this simulator time, to undergo your pre-flight briefing.
